How to Balance Me2We in a New Normal, a Conscious Leadership

Kate Lee, CEO of Life Of Emerald

Kate Lee is a healer, storyteller, and social entrepreneur from Seoul, South Korea. Kate has 15 years of teaching experience including educating STEM college graduates sponsored by the South Korean government. Her ancestors are kings of South Korea of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897 AD) and the scholars of the Nobel class in the Shilla dynasty (57 BC -935 AD).

Life Of Emerald helps corporate workers worldwide reduce stress by providing strategies on how to take care of mind, body and soul health through a conscious media impact-driven company with world-class leaders.

Kate will be presenting in the first part of the session and then we will have the opportunity to participate in mindfulness experiences such as meditation, shifting mindset to inner happiness. Kate will help us to connect with each other online, heart to heart as if we were sitting next to each other with mindfulness meditation and compassionate online space.

About the Session

LEADership in the 21st Century Renaissance

Art and mind together for humanity’s iteration towards the next creative epoch

In a combination of engaging lecture and immersive movement-assisted interactive activities, this session highlights four cornerstones of a 21st century renaissance:

  1. The Da Vinci Way, in the age of CRISPR, space travel, and artificial intelligence
  2. Humanism redefined, vis à vis technology, nature, and spirituality
  3. Better understanding of the mind and consciousness. Embodied, not just embrained
  4. Beauty re-embraced: from products and customer experience to workplace culture

You will see innovation with a whole new perspective and the world in new possibilities. You will envision a “personal renaissance”, learning to lead with originality, poetry and grit, whole brain and full body, influencing with authenticity, and communicating with flair.

After BeiBei’s provocative talk, professional dancer and fellow rebel Momo Sanno will lead everyone through a series of creative movement exercises to symbolize and embody ideas of Renaissance Leadership. We will end by dancing together to a special Me2We song, dedicated to the LEAD community by BeiBei and her musician colleagues – a fellow GSB alum and a Hollywood singer-songwriter.

All are welcomed: poets and quants, nerds and muses, star performers and polymathic misfits, whole or broken hearts, assured or lost souls, and leaders seeking wisdom, charisma, purpose, meaning, joy, and liberation from corporate cliché. All you need is curiosity and readiness to move all body parts (wear comfortable clothing)! Oh, also pen and paper, and ideally some colored drawing instruments (such as pastels, crayons, or colored pencils. Steal from your children, if needed.).
