Carole Robin & David Bradford
Carole Robin Ph.D. was the Dorothy J. King Lecturer in Leadership, Director of the Arbuckle Leadership Fellows Program and longtime teacher in Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business legendary Interpersonal Dynamics (aka Touchy Feely) course. She was known as the Queen of Touchy Feely and received the MBA Distinguished Teaching Award. When she retired in 2017, a scholarship was established in her name. Subsequently, she co-founded Leaders in Tech a nonprofit which brings two decades of lessons to Silicon Valley startups.
David Bradford, Ph.D. is the Eugene O’Kelly II Senior Lecturer Emeritus in Leadership at Stanford Graduate School of Business where he taught for over 50 years. He was the primary architect for the legendary “Touchy-Feely” course (aka Interpersonal Dynamics) which is one of the School’s flagship offerings. He introduced leadership to the GSB curriculum at the MBA and executive level by developing multiple courses and mentoring colleagues for nearly four decades.
David and Carole will provide us with an overview of what thousands of Stanford GSB alumni have learned in “Touchy Feely” over decades and are now in their book Connect as well as answer questions/ provide tips on how to best apply the book’s valuable lessons.
