Fundamental to realizing better health, and a more effective health care system, is advancing the disruptive thinking that has spawned innovation in Silicon Valley and throughout the world. That’s exactly what Stanford Medicine has done by proposing a new vision for health and health care: Precision Health. With examples of pioneering work at Stanford Medicine and case studies from business, Lloyd Minor, MD, dean of the Stanford School of Medicine, presents a dynamic vision for the future. In light of the pandemic, he’ll highlight the importance of equity, the interconnected nature of global health, and the substantial role health systems and businesses have in spurring innovation.
