Travel & Accommodations

Check out the resources below for information about booking flights, coordinating travel arrangements and room accommodations with fellow LEADers, and hotel room block.

We look forward to seeing you!

Booking Flights

To get to Stanford, it’s roughly about the same distance from San Francisco and San Jose airports. There are 3 major airports serving the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco International (SFO), San Jose Mineta International (SJC), and Oakland International (OAK). Please compare fares to all three airports, as there can be major differences, even for the same airline.Although San Francisco is the largest of the three area airports and offers the most airlines and flights, some visitors find that San Jose’s smaller size makes it a somewhat more convenient alternative, especially for domestic flights.

Here is some useful information from Stanford University on airports to fly into as well as detailed information on how to reach the campus from each airport via car and public transportation.
